Sassy Abbey's Happy Tail

Little Abbey, described by her owner as a “feisty, spunky, and sassy” senior chihuahua, found her family in Andrea and her cat Lucky. After 12 years of experiencing life’s ups and downs together, a growing lump put Abbey at risk and in need of surgery – to improve her breathing, movement, and quality of life.

Outreach, education, and relationship-building in Marlboro County

From 2020 until now, the RedRover Responders Community Programs unchaining efforts have expanded from helping one dog, to improving the quality of life for over forty dogs. With twice-yearly planned deployments and free wellness clinics for pets and their people, our team has been in partnership with the Humane Society of Marlboro County in South Carolina.

Seven newly pet-friendly DV shelters
with Safe Housing

Not only has RedRover reached a milestone by awarding $572,502 in Safe Housing grants in this latest round of funding – the most ever for a single round – but 7 of the 11 domestic violence shelter grantees will be able to welcome pets for the first time!
