Home on the Ranch: Little Mia's Happy Tail

Little Mia came into the care of Lisa and her husband when Mia’s previous family opted to euthanize the dog rather than address her complex medical needs. Thinking she needed an expensive liver shunt surgery, Lisa committed to giving Mia a fighting chance. No stranger to raising funds to save an animal’s life, she turned to any organization that might be able to help - including RedRover.

Collaborating in Louisiana for survivors

Last month, the RedRover Responders team joined Greater Good Charities’ Rescue Rebuild program in Louisiana for our first deployment of the year: creating dedicated space to house animal victims of domestic abuse at Big Sky CARES Animal Shelter. Teaching and learning from Native youth

As part of the next step in our partnership with the Sacramento Native American Health Center (SNAHC), Native teenagers were trained in how to implement a newly developed Native-centric version of the RedRover Readers program.
