January 2025 – Monthly Update

 “More Than a Cat”

Apollo’s Happy Tail

Taylor became a cat owner just like anyone else: a cat decided they were coming home with her. The feral cat who chose her would soon give birth to kittens, and among them was little Apollo. Once just a tiny ball of fur, he was now an irreplaceable part of the family and enjoyed a life of good food, warm beds, fun with friends, and everything else a cat could need. But when Taylor found an abscess on his sweet face, what this family would really need is a FurEver Friend.

Community Programs Pet Clinics Supported by Adtalem

Since its inception in 2021, our RedRover Responders Community Programs work has been community-centered and community-driven. As a national program, our goal is to support partners who are already doing the work on the ground for local families with pets in need. And thanks to an incredibly generous grant from the Adtalem Global Education Foundation, families in West Monroe, Louisiana, where we partner with PAWS NE LA, no longer had to worry about how they would provide vital veterinary care. What a wonderful gift!
