June 2024 – Monthly Update

A Wish Come True: Danielle and Wish’s Happy Tail

What she thought was a quick visit to the veterinarian for a rabies shot turned out to be bad news for Danielle and her kitty Wish. But with all of her savings tied up in moving costs, she wasn’t sure how she would pay for the dental surgery Wish desperately needed. This family needed a FurEver Friend.

FurEver Friends Apparel Survey

Help us out, will ya Friend? We're considering launching a second super exclusive design for our FurEver Friends and we want to know if there is anything besides t-shirts and sweatshirts you'd be interested in purchasing. Please answer this quick poll to tell us how you'd like to show that you're a friend to the animals.

If you missed our first exclusive design for FurEver Friends, you can check it out here.

Courageous Together: A Symbol of Hope for Survivors and Their Pets

Last month, we were honored that the Purple Leash Project, our collaborative project with Purina, had a special spotlight on Good Morning America. RedRover President and CEO Katie Campbell was present on set while Purina CEO Nina Leigh Krueger, along with actress and advocate Mariska Hargitay kicked off the unveiling of the Courageous Together statue. This work by artist Kristen Visbal, the creator of Fearless Girl, represents our hope that no one should have to choose between safety and their pets.

Hurricanes, Fires, and Fireworks – Oh My! RedRover Disaster Preparedness

RedRover Responders volunteers know more than most that summer brings the start of the hurricane season (June 1). You may also know that wildfire “season” has gone away – it's no longer a season, but a year-round threat. And any of us pet parents know the terror that noisy Fourth of July fireworks can bring. But what can you do?

Are you "easily distracted" by animals?

Didn’t get the “easily distracted by animals” shirt at Animal Care Expo, or want more? If you didn’t have the chance to stop by our booth in San Antonio at the Humane Society of the United States’ event, it’s not too late! Now offering a new, EXCLUSIVE long sleeve option in RedRover red. If you or someone you love is “easily distracted” by a fluffy pup or cute kitten like we are, get your apparel before June 20.
