Lost without him: Sir Meowsworth’s Happy Tail

Sir Meowsworth’s protruding canine teeth were cute when he was a kitten, but now that he had grown, they were a pain – literally. His bottom lip was covered in sores, and he drooled constantly. After having her hours cut at work and her car breaking down, Mary turned to family and friends, and then to RedRover Relief. Everything starts somewhere, and our current percentage of nearly 19% of pet-friendly domestic violence shelters used to be much smaller – in fact, it was roughly 3% when we launched the Safe Housing program in 2012. Helping Pets and their People in Northeast Louisiana

Simone Bundang joined the RedRover team as Marketing Manager back in October of 2023, and she was finally able to go on her first deployment with the RedRover Responders team last month. In our second wellness clinic and spay/neuter event with PAWS of Northeast Louisiana, Simone reports the “deployment ran like clockwork!”
