September 2026 – Monthly Update

Thank you for being a Friend!

Show your pride in being a Friend to the animals, FurEver and Ever, in a comfortable, 100% cotton unisex t-shirt in classic navy, sleek black, or beautiful forest green, available only to our RedRover FurEver Friends. Looks best covered in pet hair. Lint roller not included.

ICYMI: A huge win for survivors!

Thank you to the National Football League (NFL) for your compassionate support! When the NFL learned our programs aligned with their commitment to address domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking through their partnerships, they generously donated $20,000 to RedRover. This gift enables us to continue helping survivors and their pets find safety from abuse and stay together.

“Everything to Us”

Madison’s Happy Tail

Madison the cat was missing for more than 10 days after wandering out of the house undetected. The thought that he might be gone forever was unbearable for Qiana and her grandchildren. When Madison finally came home, he was clearly hurt and scared, with a serious injury to his left hind leg. His X-rays showed a broken leg that would need to be amputated for the best possible outcome. But as a single-income household, relying only on her husband’s disability benefits, Qiana didn’t have the money available to pay for Madison’s surgery immediately. Because we can count on the recurring support of our FurEver Friends to save lives each month, we could say “yes” in their moment of need.

Last minute help? The RedRover Responders team is on it!

When our RedRover Responders team received the call that a Tennessee shelter needed help caring for a sudden influx of dogs surrendered from a single property, we knew we had to act fast. Staff rushed to the airport for an overnight flight, a dedicated volunteer drove more than 12 hours, and others rearranged their schedules so they could arrive as soon as possible to support the staff and animals at Cheatham County Animal Care and Control.
