Urgent Care in the nick of time: Dorito’s Happy TailWith her beloved cat Dorito’s initial surgery estimate reaching the limits of her budget, Maddie reached out to her local animal control agency for resources, and came across the RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant. The injury Dorito sustained from a fight with his brother
required an immediate procedure and follow-up care, and Maddie was relieved to find her case might fit the guidelines for a grant.

Make a powerful impact, become an On-Call AngelOn-Call Angels are generous supporters who fund RedRover Relief grants for specific animals in urgent need. Every year, RedRover funds around 500 applications for financial assistance with emergency veterinary care for pets and families in crisis. Our goal is to approve all eligible RedRover Relief applications – but we can’t do that with our compassionate On-Call Angels. The RedRover Responders program offers some of the most exciting and meaningful experiences that animal lovers can have! From taking care of animals evacuating from natural disasters, caring for dogs rescued from puppy mills, to helping domestic violence survivors bring their pets with them when they are able to leave – RedRover provides a variety of opportunities to make a difference with people and their animals.

statesThe second half of 2023 will bring five planned deployments for our RedRover Responders staff and volunteers. From unchaining to vet wellness visits, spay/neuter clinics for pets to trap-neuter-return events for coastal cats, we are heading to five communities to support the long-term goals of the people who live there for the animals they love.
