Fate seemed to intervene to bring Jen and her cat Bean together, but bad luck could have taken him from her. If it weren’t for the help of our FurEver Friends and their RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant, poor Bean may not have been able to recover from his severe injury.

Community Cat 101 – TNVR Trainings with BISSELL and Operation Catnip

BISSELL Pet Foundation invited RedRover's Director Field Services Beth Gammie to lead an all-day Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) training to shelter staff, animal control officers, rescues, veterinarians, techs, and others in Lafayette, Louisiana, on August 29. Alongside Executive Director for Operation Catnip Audrey Garrison, participants received a comprehensive training in how to humanely trap community cats.

Advancing Our Advocacy at NOVA’s Annual Training Event

The National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) held their Annual Training Event in Washington, DC, from July 28-August 1. This was the event’s 50th anniversary and they celebrated with a powerful theme, 50 & Forward: Advancing Our Advocacy. Beyond tabling at the event, RedRover’s President and CEO Katie Campbell had a chance to connect with the audience directly through her Getting to "Yes!" and Staying There: Building Support for Pet Housing Programs presentation.
