Willow’s Happy Tail

When the stray cat her family had been playing with for weeks disappeared, Brittney found her at the local animal shelter with a broken femur and dislocated hip after being hit by a car. She decided to adopt Willow right then and there, even though she badly needed two expensive surgeries to recover from her injuries. But after recently buying a house, paying for moving expenses, and still needing to pay the bills, there wasn’t enough left to pay for Willow’s surgery, and there was no time to wait – Willow was in a lot of pain and unable to walk. Though her personal fundraiser received no donations, our FurEver Friends stepped in to help with a RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant.

Four Communities, Two Weeks, and Tons of Fencing, Oh My!

Though we are a small team, it’s not uncommon for our volunteer team’s schedules to be jam-packed, and June was no exception with four unique deployments! Our RedRover Responders staff and volunteers traveled to four communities in two weeks to assist with a wide variety of animal needs.

The 2026 Results are In: Kindness Rules!

Since RedRover began publishing Kind News™ magazine in 2017, we’ve been lucky to have the loyalty of many sponsors and educators who come back to us year after year to get the magazine into children’s hands. This past spring, though, we launched an effort to bring the magazine to 30,000 more children in 2026! Due to the generosity of our supporters, we are well on our way to reaching that goal.
