 โ€œA Beautiful Soulโ€

Jerryโ€™s Happy Tail

Barbara thought she had found the perfect food for her cat, Jerry, but to her shock and dismay, it would later cause him TWO urinary blockages. Staying at home to care for Jerry after his first unblocking procedure, she missed work. Her boss did not agree that pets are family; he didnโ€™t accept that Barbara was missing work to care for Jerry, and fired her. And if that wasnโ€™t hard enough, Jerry blocked again. With no job and no funds to afford a second unblocking procedure, Barbara turned to the RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant program and our FurEver Friends for help to save Jerry.

Stronger Together โ€“ RedRover Responders and PAWS of NE LA

In April, our RedRover Responders volunteers headed back to West Monroe, Louisiana, to partner with PAWS of Northeast Louisiana (PAWS NE LA), a local nonprofit providing spay/neuter services, pet ID tags, animal therapy and humane education, and an animal rescue program. A vital resource to their community, we are so grateful to partner with such wonderful, hardworking folks!

Coastal Cats TNVR in Taylor and Levy County, Florida

The RedRover Responders team just concluded another successful Coastal Cats TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) deployment in Taylor and Levy counties in the Gulf Coast of Florida. Alongside Operation Catnip, 9 volunteers traveled to Gainesville, Florida, to help trap, shelter, and treat 100 community cats living in these counties โ€“ living in areas where they are at risk from impact during hurricanes and storm surge.
